Played the Demo
Hi, I played the demo and I had alot of fun with it...there were alot of bugs but I'm sure u know abt them. One bug that really bothered me is I cannot damage enemies with my lightsaber in real jedi mode. I tried all 3 dlls and I liked the alternative test dll the best. I have a feeling there are features that I have not noticed yet, for the final release is there gonna be a manual?

you mean the jedis fight ? they kick all the time.. or else i can't see any problems i play it to and i had no problems hit them with my saber

Yes there will be a BIG manual but ill do that later when im ready /finished with codeing.
The dlls in the demo are all old versions

here are some more recent /stable dlls with many bug fixes
WARNING can only be downloaded 10 times so first come first served
If stoiss wants to post them here for people that is now his decdcision.I know he is very busy at work with his 16hour working days so ill be more present on the forum from now on.
Im going to concentrate more on the real jedi mode so ill start a new thread soon with updates.It was a big Job and still needs a lot of work
The aim of the demo is only to get some feed back on the sabersystem.
Soon i will need to take a brake (got a lot going on at the moment) but ill clean up the code some more and fix the bugs before i take a break .

such a small change but I really like how you can now roll without jumping in mp...that always bothered me so thanks! Right now the saber combat doesn't seem to be too skill based...I can literally just keep running into an enemy and disarm them, but I'm sure your working on that not sure why I am not able to damage the enemies in real jedi mode, I'll give the new dlls a try now

Hold attack+block+walk+direction for best sabercombat manual block
CTF flags now half invisible when holding for better visuals
weather settings in controls menu
Try fighting against the sabermaster bots. they are much harder ,but good for mblock practice.
Fun tips
jump level 3 can run very high up walls now
jump flipslash can rotate left or right for better aim
push dropped weapons to create a pickupable for team mates only
pull dropped weapons before someone gets it
press attack +force_button to do saberfake into saberlock
forcefall now comes with damage if you dont get the timing correct from big jumps
spinkick when surrounded using kick_button + L/R directions
meditate to regen force/health
meditate can rotate for good observation of arcs
walking increases blocking/parry bonus
different sabers have different features /kata/hiltbash,etc.etc
duel challenge saber or gunner anytime anywhere
saberthrow 2 has unlimited distance. 3 can stick in walls
sabers throw like knives ( planning to make them stick in people for later update)
shoot grapplehook into sky and watch it spin away from you
free rolls in all directions
aim shots back at gunners
fire weapon when knocked down
roundhouse kick ,punck,slap,grab,spinkick melee kickflip all available
fire hook into people and pull yourself to them
throw saber at people when you are being gripped
erm ..theres loads and loads of new stuff.
i think i need to make a manual??? before i forget everything.lol
punish every body on map for a real funny laugh

tried it with the new dll and the saber combat seems alot better I also tried the saber fakes, takes awhile to get used to it, but once I did it works awesome you know in OJP they took the katas out and gave all the forms the uppercut and the flip slash move...do u plan to implement that to EOC or are u trying to bring the mod in a different direction?

but as i said if this proves to be unpopular with people it can all be changed easly now its all in
in sp some have saberthrow and some have kick,some have hilt bash
so you need to try different sabers to find the best one for you
i included serenity (my personal saber)saber and cadence saber
both are different ,but as i said "try them all to find the best one for you"

we will not bring everything in from ojp to eoc.. eoc is not ojp and we try not to have all what ojp stand for with its combat or anything else.. we try to make a mod there have a better way to fight then it is in mb2. mb2 has a upper system but there saber combat sucks bigtime thats why we try to do somthing better and make it ffa

I realize that ur not trying to make an ojp copy and I salute you for that lol I've been a huge ojp player but sadly not many people played it, and now that the mod is not in production anymore it is almost impossible for me to find someone to play with. I started playing mb2...although that is a great mod, the saber aspect of the game was really...clumsy, so I'm super exited about EOC I hope this mod gets as popular as MB II

well we try to do our best.. the best thing for this mod here is when serenity join me with this mod here..
he have help this mod to come so far as it is today.. he use so much time on it when i don't have the time to work with it atm so if anyone should get the big credite it is him.. i help with alot of stuff but he did the saber part much better then u could do.. i told him my ideas of how it should be and he created it out from that with some tweaks to it
and don't think we are done with the saber combat yet,, what you play here is just the small part of it i have much bigger plans with it when i get some bettet time to work with serenity on it again
but i hope you like how it is so far crow.

hey I few days ago I said I cannot damage anybody in realjedi mode...I figured out what was wrong. I opened the console and set g_friendlyfire 1 and g_friendlysaber 1...now real jedi mode works

one last problem...the enemies are unaffected by my force powers...do u know any commands that I could use to enable that?

There is a bug in There force push and pull ill fix it when i get There souce codes from serenity
