Posezion's Application

Location: USA
Position: Modeling, 2D Artwork (Scopes and crap), (some) sound effect creation, Mapping, Texture creation (Can skin wise, but more towards mapping; repeatable textures), Media (introductions to videos, etc..?), Picture creation (photoshop, loading screens, etc.), Shader creation, Concept artist, and maybe web development (Depending on what will happen)
Experience: about 1-2 years in modeling (NOT PLAYER MODELS, WEAPONS ETC), 5-7 years in mapping, 5-7 years in 2d art, 1-3 months in animation (didn't mention in position), and a bunch of random other crap.
Past experiences: Man hunt, Era of Darkness.
Why: To be 100% honest with you I am only applying because I have been bored lately.
Software(s): GTK Radiant 1.4.0, 3ds Max 2010, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, Adobe After Effects CS4, Dragon Animator Tool, Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 (May add some later)

Sorry I don't have much mapping screenshots, I never took screenshots because I never finished any maps that I felt were screenshot worthy (In other words, I havn't completed a map 100% yet, even though I have mapped for 5 years... lmao...)

Assuming you will greed around my photobuckets and xfire screenshots, please keep in mind that the shittiest of modded files were, once again, extremely early and horribly done.

Now, my life is very busy, so I most certainly will not be the most active member, but would enjoy contributing to a mod once again.

I like your stuff. some of it ofc could have been more detail with the hud tics on the mb2 hud.. i will talk wiht serenity and MountainDew about this and i will come back to you.. also the rest of the team need to agreed on you stuff. looks nice so far

Do you have any examples of mapping?
We need mappers skinners and modellers atm.

So:

- Maps
- New Weapons
- Models

Sure, only problem is all the custom textures (most atleast) are long gone (This is a new pc) so I will be only screenshotting maps with textures used from basejka :S, plus I'm not too big of a fan of creating a whole set of textures for a map :

That last one with jets and crap has to do with a lot of scripts and timing :S... Basically the jets fly by and own a tank (Didn't make the tank yet, most of the timing/scripting is done though). Keep in mind the jets fly by super fast so I meant for them to be super sloppy, notice the paint brush wings XD

I'm decent with mapping, but most certainly not the best.

And as for weapons, I never put them in-game simply because my past PC (and this one) can't run MD3View, and other extremely required tools (Not even ModView, I just do Trial and Error on skin creation). I usually size them and have a friend do like 4-5 steps (simple ones at that).

And as for the sloppy huds and crap, I usually just make them for myself or for others' personal use. I've tried UI for huds once before and it's quite simple looking but never got into it.

well you weapon models looks good to.. from not have been ingame.. can you play jka ?

Oh, no no haha. It's just the operating system isn't compatible with it for some reason (Even though it's windows XP home edition)

Right now I'm trying to retrieve a map test I made a while ago, it was a realistic water shader for JKA.

also you simes to know you level so i got a request.. remember the old jko demo ? there is a hangermap in that one if you make that map as a mp in side there it would be awesome

I've never played JKO in my life, but I'll download the demo and take a look.
